(Chairman, Myanmar Rice Federation, Group Managing Director, MAPCO Agribusiness)On behalf of the Board of Directors, it gives me great pleasure to state a welcome message for the Website of Myanmar Agribusiness Public Co Ltd (MAPCO). MAPCO was formally formed in 2012 as the business arm of the Myanmar Rice Federation.
In 2022, MAPCO Group has introduced MAPCO Agribusiness as a reliable and reputable brand, representing Myanmar’s agriculture and agro industries. With our continuous effort in ensuring the nation's agribusiness return to the zenith, it is imperative for everyone to consolidate their strength to pave the way for a greater national agro-economy. The formation of MAPCO Agribusiness is a testimony of this effort. The set of ideals that MAPCO Agribusiness carries is a paradigm shift from the previous agribusiness model to a more robust and comprehensive system. Essential aspects for the country’s generator of wealth, such as value addition, legislation, private businesses and the public, are brought together through MAPCO Agribusiness to contribute to a greater overall wealth of our beloved Myanmar.
I am confident that the new generation of Myanmar’s farmers, millers, traders and agrocrats par excellence will ensure our agribusiness to triumph in the global market.
I believe MAPCO Agribusiness will play an active role to inspire others and to support further growth of investment and entrepreneurship in Myanmar's agro economy.
