Grain Terminal & Port

In line with Myanmar’s rapid economic and social progression, MAPCO realizes that port and logistics development are equally important in order to support the comprehensive advancement of the agro-industry.

MAPCO is well under way to develop a Grain & Food Products Terminal at the Thilawar Port & Terminal Area. A port that is strategically located at the Yangon River mouth and the Andaman Sea, the Terminal will include Rice Reprocessing Plants as well as Mechanized Warehouses. The full development, operations, and management of the Terminal are expected to create close to 2,000 new jobs in Myanmar.
